Cost Allocation Tags

• Need to be enabled individually
• They can be either AWS generated which start with AWS:. These are added automatically by AWS
• They are added only to resources that are added after the cost allocation tags have been enabled. They can not be added retroactivly
• User defined tags can be created
• Both are visible in AWS cost reports
• They can take upto 24 hours to become visible after they have been enabled
